Bengaluru-headquartered venture capital firm Chiratae Ventures has selected 19 startups to incubate in its seventh edition of Innovators Programme which aims to support seed and early-stage high-impact startups.
Chiratae Ventures is a tech venture capital fund focused on enabling entrepreneurs in India. Launched in 2006 by Sudhir Sethi, TCM Sundaram and Manik Arora, Chiratae Ventures India Advisors has had an AUM(assets under management) of around US$ 800 million since inception. It has invested in over 95 companies such as FirstCry, Lenskart, HealthifyMe, Manthan, Bounce, Cure.Fit, Flipkart, Myntra, Newgen, PlaySimple, PolicyBazaar, Rentomojo and Uniphore among others.
Chiratae Venture’s Innovators Programme is a seed-stage initiative. “Our Innovators Programme is rooted in our commitment towards strengthening our homegrown startup ecosystem. We have invested over $125 million in 50 seed investments,” said Sudhir Sethi, founder and chairman, Chiratae Ventures.
The startups have been selected from industries including consumer tech, software, health tech, deep tech, and fintech and they will undergo a five-week foundational initiative that seeks to help seed- and early-stage founders. The five-week program will focus on the aspects of the growth of startups including market analysis, team building and culture, technology, product, market entry and expansion and fundraising.
“We believe the new normal post-pandemic has created a whole new opportunity with a digital-first world where consumer behavior and working patterns can create large value for a country like India and we would like to support founders who are working towards those ideas,” said Karan Mohla, partner and head of consumer technology, Chiratae Ventures.
The selected 19 startups are – AyuRythm, Inspektlabs, Quollab, Euphotic Labs Pvt Ltd (Nosh), Chainflux, VogueMe Technologies Pvt Ltd (Toch.ai), Ai Health Highway India Pvt Ltd (AiSteth), Rightbot Private Limited, Retail Pulse, Mowito, Whrrl, Trustmore Technologies Pvt Ltd, Code Test Pvt Ltd (CodeTest), PhySarum, Vyorius Drones LLP (Vyorius), Zealth, Heyy.life, Insurance Samadhan and Ark Neo Finance.
AyuRythm provides a completely digital solution for personalized holistic wellness based on Ayurvedic principles. AyuRythm’s patent-pending technology and approval from leading Ayurvedic doctors make their solution a one-stop for all wellness needs. It assesses the user’s ideal and current body type based on a one-time response to 30 questions followed by a daily 30-second pulse diagnostic test using your mobile phone camera. Based on the tests, the application makes personalized recommendations on ideal yoga, pranayama, food, spa and herbal.
