According to the press release, the investment round was led by HNI Founder of Anubhuti Advisors LLP and ex-group CFO of Adani Group, Founder and CIO of Sixteenth Street Capital, Rashmi Kwatra, Director of Securcap, UK, Aditya Goel and MD, CEO of BNP Paribas India, Umasankar Nistala.

The company claims to utilize the latest funding amount to invest in technology in order to enhance its core trading platform which kick-starts its marketing and branding initiatives and expand its team from 30 to 100 people.

The company was incorporated in the year 2015 by Hiral Jain and Amit Dhakad. Mr Dhakad previously worked with technology consultancy in ThoughtWorks while Mr Jain worked at Financial Technologies. The core team of Market Pulse include senior technology leaders who are experts in building user centric products.

The company claims to register 2 million downloads and 4.6 rating on the Google Play Store. Market Pulse application enables users to make faster, better and detailed trading decisions in the Commodity and Equity markets in India. They claim to have an aim of upgrading the playing field for traders and investors to support everyone with access to real-time data and insight.

The release also added that they plan to increase its reach in the Indian Market and triple its user base in the next 18 months with this capital inclusion.
