Anti-phishing startup Inky has raised $20 million in its Series B round of funding, from Insight Partners. This new investment brought total investment to USD 31.6 Million.


Funds will be utilized to accelerate the enterprise adoption, innovation map and global expansion. In conjunction with the investment, INKY is expanding the company across Asia, Europe and Latin America, to bring INKY to the global market. Through a strategic build out, INKY can now protect companies of all sizes seeking to prevent disruptive phishing attacks.

“This Series B funding gives us the resources we need to serve the incredible demand we’re seeing from enterprise customers in particular, and will allow us to expand our go-to-market efforts globally,” said Inky’s co-founder and chief executive Dave Baggett.


The company deals in domain specific machine learning and computer vision technique like Exchange, G-suite and Office 365 to alert the user by detecting the source of email and categorize if the email is malicious or unusual, safe or a phish attempt and leveraging a security vulnerability like an XSS or cross site script that can be used to steal data. Inky claims to block hundreds of thousands of malicious and suspicious emails per month for the average customers.
